A discussion on design and methodological issues with researching knowledge management in academic settings
Understanding the complex role of innovativeness in the firm: interaction with capabilities, performance, and environment
This book is composed of two conceptual papers. The first is about a specific facet of an important dimension of innovation process, namely knowledge management. It brings forth a discussion on design and methodological issues with researching knowledge management in academic settings. The other paper is about the framework wherein innovativeness operates. Innovativeness and related concepts are defined, then their interaction with organizational and environmental variables are discussed and propositions reflecting the relationships are formulated. Focusing on specific innovation-related aspects -such as this study intends- may help to create new knowledge to better comprehend the organizational innovation process which is fairly complicated with recursive, dynamic, and uncertain movements.
