Seamus Heaney is an 20th century Irish poet, (born April 13, 1939, Tamniaran, Northern Ireland, - died August 30, 2013 (aged 74), Blackrock, Dublin, Ireland. Seamus Heaney has received many notable awards during his literary career. However, the Nobel Prize, which he received in 1955, was awarded for expressing the importance of the Irish land at every opportunity and for his success in breaking down hard political boundaries in light of his poetry.
